A Blog is a place where you create regularly posted articles that offer valuable information.

1. We dedicate a page of your site to be your blog.  By doing this, your Blog inherits all of the branding and style of your main site.
2. You simply edit the page with the most recent article to be posted at the top of the page.
3. Each page is unlimited in length.  We recommend keeping no more than a year’s worth of content on a page.
4. At the end of the year, you have several ways you can create an archive of your content.
1. Print a PDF of that page’s content.  (This will retain text, images, and formatting.)  You can then use our document system to upload & place the PDF file back onto your site.  You now have an archive for that year.
2. Add a new page and simply adjust navigation so that the old page becomes your archive.
5. Start adding new content for the new year.
6. As you add content, an RSS Feed system scans your page and automatically creates an RSS feed that individuals may subscribe to.
7. The RSS feed is “pushed” to your front page via a news box, delivering fresh and changing content to your home page.  This helps raise awareness of your blog to site visitors and search engines alike.  The RSS feed contains the top entry on your page.
8. If you want to take in comments, you can link directly to your included Contact Us page.  This will defeat spam from ever going live on your site.
9. You can even divide your content into Categories of information.  Simply divide your planned content between different targeted pages.  For example, an Insurance Agency may want to divide between Personal and Business Lines.

This method is fully indexible by Google, Yahoo, and Live, meaning that your content, even that stored as a PDF file, can be discovered via the search engines.

The beauty of this approach is that there’s no separate complex software that needs to be learned in order to manage your blog.  It is quick, easy, and effective.
